Hi – my name is André Kraul Jensen – a dane living in Sweden, Malmö. I have as a human being and architect an incredible passion for nature and the environment that surrounds us. Originally I come from an small island in Denmark, where I already as a child understood the beauty and importance of nature. We can not live without it – and it can only survive if we know how to protect it and its resources.  Nature’s diversity and complexity inspires me in many ways and become a key player creating the architecture. A key player, where human needs and functions should form a synthesis and the setting for many different lives.
The city pulse with its traffic, people, innovative art and architecture – it embraces a diversity of interests. In the hurry of development we must not forget the incredible works of architecture throughout the history – but instead let us be fascinated and inspired by the old buildings, abandoned factory’s and industrial premises with historical and ancient splendour that reveals a great story and building practices. Being able to transform demolition endangered buildings and give them a new life with new use, brings character and quality to an area.
I like to work with sustainable design of new architecture and transformation of old buildings, interior design and article for everyday use, furniture, light etc – with recycling as a key player. I am a designer with ideas and visions working creatively and very focused with my work. I am empathetic as a person, and this is reflected in my work and I want to be involved developing, open and rethink areas where human, nature and architecture jointly creates a whole.
